The Future of Food

61ztfhhw6blTHE FUTURE OF FOOD offers an in-depth investigation into the disturbing truth behind the unlabeled, patented, genetically engineered foods that have quietly filled U.S. grocery store shelves for the past decade.

The more I learn about the way we do food in this world and the implications it has for health, starvation, global poverty and the future of the human race, I am beginning to believe that food is the number one issue facing humanity today. This film does a great job identifying the trends in patent law, genetic engineering and the centralization of the entire world food industry. I believe this will come to a head in the very near future and many, many people will suffer.

About 1:10:00 into the film, notice the global implications of farming subsidies in the United States and the financial warfare model being waged on 3rd world countries by the IMF and World Banking system. Families that once farmed their own land are evicted and forced to move toward urban centers to survive.  Many now survive picking through trash. How did we get here?
