Bank Better

mrpotter-300x225This action step is probably the easiest we can take to make a difference for the better in our world.  Big banks are at war with the average person and are destroying local communities around the world.  And they do this using our deposits!

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

- Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826), US Founding Father, drafted the Declaration of Independence, 3rd US President. Source: in 1802 in a letter to then Secretary of the Treasury, Albert Gallatin

What can we do?

  1. If you work for a large bank include BofA, Citibank, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs or the London banks, find a new job.
  2. If you bank or invest through any of these firms, pull your money out and bank local.  Federal credit unions are a great alternative to dealing with banksters.

I highly recommend that you read this article on the subject of banking.

Three big reasons not to bank with big banks:

1 – Large banks have proven they can’t be trusted with our money

  • Over 600 Trillion in derivatives (high risk, unregulated, non-transparent insurance policies responsible for bringing down AIG, Lehman and others)
  • 13 Trillion in bailouts (privatize profits, socialize the risks)
  • Insider trading – insiders profit at the expense of everyone else (including pensions, personal savings, etc)
  • The entire economic system now at risk
  • Many people out of work and out of homes

Bottom line – banks don’t care about our well being…why would we trust them with our money?

2 – Large banks are userous (they profit from lending and charging high interest and fees to those who can’t pay them back)

Bottom line – should I bank with a company whose business model is contrary to my values (pushes debt enslavement)

3 – The largest banks (central banks) are engaged in Financial Warfare

  • They use debt to force entire countries to hand over their natural resources
  • They use military power and political corruption to enforce this process
  • They engineer pump and dump cycles in economies to strip wealth and resources
  • They bankroll war to build up national debts
  • They print money inflicting hidden taxes on people in the form of inflation

This is for one purpose: to centralize all power and all the worlds wealth and resources into the hands of a very few

Bottom line: I don’t want to fund a war being waged against me, those I love and everything I stand for
